Here at Added-Time, our love for the beautiful game is not satisfied by mainstream punditry. Our curiosity extends far beyond the latest transfer drama or simple coverage of the “big clubs.” As journalists and fans, we hope to delve deeper into the footballing world’s latest talking points while also expanding our knowledge of the game’s history and global significance. For football fans whose interest extends far beyond the ninety minutes, we invite you to join us deep into added-time.

Our Team

Founder and Columnist Greg McKenna

Greg currently writes for the sports department staff of The Observer, the University of Notre Dame’s independent, student-run daily newspaper. He has covered a variety of sports, but his focuses include Notre Dame’s men’s and women’s soccer programs and men’s and women’s basketball teams. Greg identifies as a huge supporter of both Liverpool and Crystal Palace (he did not begin following the EPL until after the 2013-2014 season, so he can overlook the “the miracle of Crystanbul”). Greg follows many other leagues beside the EPL as well, though he finds choosing other rooting interests difficult. Global football aside, he is a lifelong Boston sports fan.
